Description: From an early age, it disguised itself as subtle observations from loved ones. As time went on, these ideas became ingrained and manifested into the pinching of my skin. What I’d naively allowed to happen started negatively affecting how I viewed my body, and in-turn, myself. This work strives to exhume my built-up insecurities, let go of the deep-rooted hate, and allow me to grow beyond my shell.
